The creative side of Saucefly is definitely my favorite part of each month, the “creative part" is designing the contents of the box, and then of course carefully choosing the best products and then moving to the production phase. I love working on each container and carefully filling and labeling, then seeing the beautiful finished product ready to be packed up and sent out to my customers. It is hard work with 14 hour days on my feet, (the life of a chef), but also therapeutic, meditative and fun. Part of this process of starting a business is finding balance while striving to keep clients informed and satisfied with my product. That being said, I want to fill the box to the gills with all kinds of amazing product, but I have found that while keeping my promise of using 100% organic ingredients, I need to also watch my bottom line and make sure that I am creating a sustainable business model. So please enjoy this next October box, cook new things and stretch outside your comfort zone, it will be worth it! All of this months recipe ideas are quick and easy and focusing on some new versatile flavor profiles, including some Indian and Thai recipes.
